REVENUE DEFICIENCY FUND

16.01.00.01 Revenue Deficiency Fund

To the Board of Public Works to compensate for
any deficiency of General Fund Revenue be-
low the estimate for any fiscal year. The
amount hereby appropriated shall be a use
of excess General Treasury funds. This sum
shall continue to be available until it becomes
exhausted for the purpose for which it is
appropriated.

BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS—CAPITAL APPROPRIATION

17.01.00.01 Capital Appropriation

To the Board of Public Works to be used for
certain necessary planning, building, con-
struction, deferred maintenance and equip-
ment purposes of the State and for acquiring
certain land as listed in the Program and
Performance statement for this appropria-
tion. The expenditures of these funds are to
be made under the same legal provisions as
are applicable to General Construction Loan
Funds for like purposes.

DEPARTMENT OF MARYLAND STATE POLICE-
CONTINGENT APPROPRIATION

07.05.01.13 Revision in Matching Formula

General Fund Appropriation .............................. 5,785,277

Appropriation is contingent upon enactment of
legislation to revise the matching formula.

STATE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION—AID TO EDUCATION
CONTINGENT APPROPRIATION

13.04.03.01 State Share of Current Expenses

General Fund Appropriation .............................. 20,000,000

The appropriation is to be distributed to the
counties and to Baltimore City in accordance
with and contingent upon the provisions of
the designated legislation enacted.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That in order to carry out the
provisions of these appropriations the Secretary of Budget and Fiscal
Planning is authorized:

(a) To allot all or any portion of the funds herein appropriated
to the various departments, boards, commissions, officers, schools and
institutions by monthly, quarterly or seasonal periods and by objects
of expense and may place any funds appropriated but not allotted in
