mentary permit shall be issued to cover said change after the same
conditions required to secure the original permit have been satisfied.
Plans and specifications where required shall be no less detailed than line
drawings which show:
(1) The direction of flow,
(2) Pipe sizes,
(3) Locations and type of fittings, fixtures and equipment, and
(4) Length of lines and differences in elevations.
(e) A permit shall expire six (6) months after its issuance unless
extended in writing by the Director. If any work started under a permit
is subsequently discontinued, the permit shall expire six months after the
last work was done unless extended in writing by the Director.
(f) No licensee shall apply for a permit or commence work on
another licensee's work unless the original licensee has withdrawn or
has been removed from said work and notified the Department in writing.
The letter of explanation from the person for whom the work is to be
performed or either or both licensees shall be sent to the Director explain-
ing the circumstances of the case. In the event that the original licensee
cannot be notified or does not respond within ten (10) days, the Director,
upon advice of the Gas Commission, may authorize another licensee to
apply for a permit to complete the work in question.
(g) If the gasfitter who signs an application for a permit dies, the
permit will be held in abeyance from the date of such death. The extent
of the work satisfactorily completed by the deceased will be recorded on
the gas inspector's record and on the permit, which will then be held in
abeyance. If the owner decides to have the remainder of the work done,
the original permit will be reactivated upon his written request, to the
extent of the uncompleted work. The gasfitter who is to complete the work
shall sign the original plumbing application on file at the Department of
Inspections and Permits and he will be held responsible for his work.

(a) Gas PERMIT FEES FOR GAS fuel-burning equipment shall

Gas burner permit fees are based on the size of the gas pipe leading
from the gas meter in the building or on the size of the service gas pipe
entering a building or on the size of the gas pipe leading from an existing
gas service pipe inside of a building. The permit fee for any gas burning
system based on the size of the pipe supplying such system shall cover
without additional cost, one or more gas burning appliances supplied with
gas from such pipe.
