Landover Hills                                   2345

making any change in salary paid to the Mayor or Councilmen, either
by way of increase or decrease, shall be finally ordained prior to the
municipal election to elect the next succeeding Mayor and Councilmen and
shall take effect only as to the next succeeding Mayor and Councilmen.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, ENACTED and ORDAINED that
any section or sections of the Charter of the Town of Landover Hills,
Maryland, which are inconsistent with the above enacted Section, be and
the same are hereby repealed.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, ENACTED and ORDAINED that
the aforegoing proposed amendment shall be posted in the Town Hall for
a period of at least forty (40) days following its adoption, and shall further
be published in the Prince George's Post once in each of four successive
weeks before the 28th day of April, 1969.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, ENACTED and ORDAINED that
the proposed amendment will become and be considered a part of the
Municipal Charter of the Town of Landover Hills on the 8th day of May,
1969, unless a petition is filed pursuant to Article 23A, Section 13, of the
Annotated Code of Maryland, 1957 Edition as amended, said petition to be
filed on or before the 28th day of April, 1969.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, ENACTED and ORDAINED that
the aforegoing Resolution and Ordinance be and the same is hereby adopted
this 19th day of March, 1969.

Charter Amendment No. 69-2

A Resolution and Ordinance to repeal and re-enact with amendments
Section 48-23, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince George's
County, Maryland, (1963 Edition), titled, "Landover Hills" and sub-
titled "Street Improvements; Notice and Hearing," being a section
of the Charter of the Mayor and Town Council of Landover Hills,
and removing therefrom the right of the owners of abutting property
to proposed improvements to determine the kind of sidewalk, curb,
gutter and street improvements to be constructed.

Section 1. BE IT RESOLVED, ENACTED and ORDAINED by the
Mayor and Town Council of Landover Hills, Maryland, that Section 48-23
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince George's County, Maryland,
(1963 Edition), titled, "Landover Hills" and subtitled, "Street Improve-
ments; Notice and Hearing," being a section of the Charter of the Mayor
and Town Council of Landover Hills, Maryland, be and the same is hereby
repealed and re-enacted with amendments to read as follows:
