improvement, or any part thereof, financed pursuant to the authority of
this section.
(d) The authority and powers contained in this section shall be
supplementary to existing law and such authority or powers or any of
them may be exercised by The Mayor and Council of Brunswick notwith-
standing any other provision of limitation of law.
Section 2. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the date of the
adoption of this Resolution is February 11, 1969, that a complete and
exact copy of this Resolution shall be posted in City Hall through March
24, 1969, and that a copy of the Title of this Resolution shall be published
in a newspaper of general circulation in Brunswick not less than four
(4) times, at weekly intervals, before March 24, 1969.
Section 3. AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that at the time
the charter amendment hereby adopted shall become effective, the Mayor
shall cause the same to be registered with the Secretary of State of Mary-
land and with the Department of Legislative Reference, in accordance
with the provisions of Section 17(f) of Article 23A of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1966 Replacement Volume).

I, Donald W. Dawson, a duly elected, qualified and acting Councilman
of the Maryland municipal corporation known as Mayor and Council of
Brunswick, do hereby certify and acknowledge that:
1. I received due, adequate and legal notice of the regular meeting
of the Council of Brunswick scheduled for and held on Tuesday, February
11, 1969.
2. I was unable to attend the meeting due to illness.
3. I do hereby ratify and consent to the adoption by the Mayor and
Council of Brunswick at that meeting of the Charter Amendment Resolu-
tion adding new Section 16-10 to the Code of Public Local Laws of Fred-
erick County (1968 Edition), and I hereby request that I be recorded as
voting in favor of the passage of such Resolution.
