chandise. If the company represents a range of merchandise values,
or minimum and maximum merchandise redemption values, the

value under this clause shall be the highest value so represented.

(b) Every stamp collection book shall contain the following
printed notice on the inside front cover of said book in type no less
than 12 point: A COMPLETED BOOK OF STAMPS
HAVING AN
AGGREGATE CASH VALUE OF NOT LESS THAN TWENTY-
FIVE CENTS MAY BE REDEEMED AT THE OPTION OF THE
CUSTOMER FOR CASH INSTEAD OF MERCHANDISE. THE
CASH VALUE OF A COMPLETED BOOK OF STAMPS SHALL

BE NO LESS THAN $--------------. (Value to be stated in the notice),

and such notice shall also be contained in each stamp redemption
catalog and shall also be
conspicuously displayed in every stamp re-
demption place.
ANY RETAILER WHO ISSUES TRADING
STAMPS SHALL DISPLAY IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE A
NOTICE OF THE ADDRESS OF THE NEAREST REDEMPTION
PLACE WHERE SUCH STAMPS MAY BE REDEEMED.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1970.

(House Bill 1449)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 192 and
193(a) and (b) of Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1965 Replacement Volume and 1969 Supplement), title "Health,"
subtitle "Adulteration of Food and Drink," subheading "Food and
Drug Law"; and to add a new Section 193A to said Article 43
TITLE, SUBTITLE AND SUBHEADING, to follow immediately
after Section 193 thereof and to be under the same subtitle and
subheading as above, to redefine the terms therein so as to expand
coverage to include all "frozen desserts," and matters relating
generally thereto.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 192 and 193(a) and (b) of Article 43 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1965 Replacement Volume and 1969 Supplement),
title "Health," subtitle "Adulteration of Food and Drink," subhead-
ing "Food and Drug Law"; and to add a new Section 193A to said

all to read as follows: BE AND THEY ARE HEREBY REPEALED
AND RE-ENACTED, WITH AMENDMENTS, AND THAT NEW
SECTION 193A BE, AND IT IS HEREBY ADDED TO SAID AR-
TICLE, TITLE, SUBTITLE AND SUBHEADING TO FOLLOW
IMMEDIATELY AFTER SECTION 193 THEREOF, AND ALL
TO READ AS FOLLOWS:
