AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 9(d),
10(e), 11(d-l), 13(k), 14A(b), 18(o), 19(d-l), 20(e-l), 21(j),
41(c), 65(b), 67(g), 83(c), 84(e), 90(a), 90(b), 148(g), 153,
159(c), 159(d), 159(e), 159(f), 159(h), and 168; and to add new
Sections 8(d-l), 13(d-l), 14A(c), 18(f-l), 21(e-l), 94, 148(b-3),
and 155(g); and to repeal Sections 161(a-2), 162(c), 164(a-½),
and 165(b); all of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1968 Replacement Volume and 1969 Supplement), title "Alco-
holic Beverages," subtitles "Beer Licenses," "Beer and Light Wine
Licenses," "Beer, Wine and Liquor Licenses," "General Provi-
sions on Issue of Licenses," "Procedure for Issue of Licenses,"
"Hours and Days of Sale," "Boards of License Commissioners,"
and "County Liquor Control Boards and Dispensaries"; to gener-
ally revise the alcoholic beverage laws as they apply to Caroline
County, including specifying what licenses are legal in that county
and the fees therefor; to abolish the county dispensary system
and substitute a board of license commissioners for the county
liquor control board; and to repeal inconsistent legislation.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 9(d), 10(e), and 11(d-l) of Article 2B of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume and 1969 Supple-
ment), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Beer Licenses," Sections
13(k) and 14A(b) of said Article, subtitle "Beer and Light Wine
Licenses," Sections 18(o), 19(d-l), 20(e-l), and 21(j) of said Arti-
cle and title, subtitle "Beer, Wine and Liquor Licenses,: Section
41(c) of said Article and title, subtitle "General Provisions on
Issue of Licenses," Section 65(b) of said Article and title, subtitle
"Procedure for Issue of Licenses," Sections 83(c), 84(e), 90(a) and
90(b) of said Article and title, subtitle "Hours and Days of Sale,"
be and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments;
and that new Section 8(d-l) subtitle "Beer Licenses," Sections
13(d-l) and 14A(c), subtitle "Beer and Light Wine Licenses,"
Sections 18(f-l) and 21(e-l), subtitle "Beer, Wine and Liquor
Licenses," and Section 94, subtitle "Hours and Days of Sale," be
and they are hereby added to said Article and title of the Code, and
all to read as follows:

(d-1) In Caroline County the annual license fee for such license
shall be one hundred and twenty-five dollars ($125) ONE HUNDRED
AND FIFTY DOLLARS ($150).

(d)    In Caroline County, the fee for such a license shall be [one]
two hundred dollars [($100.00)] ($200.00).

(e)    In Caroline County the annual fee for such a license shall be
[one] two hundred dollars [($100.00)] ($200.00).
