(1969 Supplement), title "Natural Resources," subtitle "In Gen-
eral," subheading "Department of Natural Resources," be and it
is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, and to read
as follows:

(b) The Secretary shall publish books, pamphlets, maps and
other materials on the natural resources and shall encourage and
assist its member agencies in the preparation of such materials for
publication. The Secretary shall maintain a supply of such publi-
cation and other materials for sale at cost to schools, libraries and
the general public, and shall establish policies for the Department
of Natural Resources on the gratuitous distribution of publica-
tions issued by the Department and its member agencies. The
Secretary shall edit, publish and distribute the periodical known as
the "Maryland Conservationist" which shall contain certain non-
technical information on the geology and geography, water and min-
eral resources, plant and animal life, recreational facilities and other
natural resources, including scenic and historic sites.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1970.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 161(a)
and (c) of Article 66˝ of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1967
Replacement Volume), title "Motor Vehicles," subtitle "Unsatisfied
Claim and Judgment Fund," and to add new Section 159 (n) to be
under said Article, title and subtitle, to follow immediately after
Section 159(m) thereof, providing benefits under this subtitle to
claimants who are ineligible under Article 48A, Subsection 482A,
the Motor Vehicle Security Fund Act.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 161(a) and (c) of Article 66˝ of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1967 Replacement Volume), title "Motor Vehicles,"
subtitle "Unsatisfied Claim and Judgment Fund," be and they are
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, and that new
Section 159(n) be and it is hereby added to the same Article, under
said title and subtitle, to follow immediately after Section 159 (m)
thereof, all to read as follows:

(a) In any action against an operator or owner of a motor vehicle
for injury to or death of any person or for damage to property arising
out of the ownership, maintenance or use of said vehicle in this
State on or after June 1, 1959, pending in any court of competent
jurisdiction in this State, the plaintiff may upon notice to the Board
file a verified petition with the court alleging—
