OF THE FOLLOWING DAY, AND BETWEEN 1:00 P.M. AND
9:00 P.M. ON SUNDAY (PROVIDED THAT UNDER SUCH SUN-
DAY LICENSES THE SALE OR DISPOSAL OF SUCH ALCO-
HOLIC BEVERAGES IS PERmitted only as a supplement to meals
and then only for consumption by patrons seated at tables on the
premises), and at no other times; (2) a Class C "on-sale" club license
authorizes the sale or disposal of alcoholic beverages between the
hours of ten o'clock a.m. on any day and one o'cock O'CLOCK a.m
on the following day, Monday to Friday, inclusive; and from ten
ten o'clock a.m. to twelve o'clock midnight ONE O'CLOCK A.M., on
Saturday; and at no other time. HOURS OF 10 O'CLOCK A.M.,
MONDAY TO SATURDAY, INCLUSIVE, AND 1 O'CLOCK A.M.
ON THE FOLLOWING DAY, AND AT NO OTHER TIME.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1970.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 26 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Carroll County (1965 Edition, being
Article 7 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title
"Carroll County," subtitle "County Commissioners," last amended
by Chapter 362 of the Acts of 1965; to provide for the quali-
fications, powers and duties of the Executive or Administrative
Assistant in Carroll County and providing for Deputy Assistant.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 26 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Carroll County
(1965 Edition, being Article 7 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland), title "Carroll County," subtitle "County Commis-
sioners," last amended by Chapter 362 of the Acts of 1965, be and
it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:
26.
(a) The County Commissioners of Carroll County are hereby
authorized to appoint an Executive or Administrative Assistant to
the County Commissioners, who shall receive such compensation and
have such powers and duties as shall be determined and prescribed
by said Commissioners. His term of office shall not extend beyond
the term of the Board making the appointment, but he shall be
eligible to re-appointment by any successor Board. The person so
selected shall reside in Carroll County. After his appointment by said
Commissioners he shall take the oath prescribed by Section 6 of
Article 1 of the Constitution of Maryland, and may be required to
give bond for the faithful performance of the duties of his office in
such penalty as the Commissioners may prescribe, and his services
in such office may be terminated at any time by said Commissioners
upon not less than two months' written notice.
