(3) Any person required by this Act to file any annual or special
report fails so to do within the time fixed by the Board, and the fail-
ure shall continue for thirty days after notice of such default, shall
forfeit to this State the sum of $100 for each and every day of the
continuance of failure, which forfeiture shall be payable to the
Treasury, and shall be recoverable in a civil suit in the name of the
State brought in the County or Baltimore City where the person has
his principal office or in any County or Baltimore City in which he
does business. It shall be the duty of the various State's Attorneys,
under the direction of the Attorney General of this State, to prose-
cute for the recovery of such forfeitures. The costs and expenses of
such prosecution shall be paid out of the appropriation for the
expenses of the courts of this State.

(4) Any officer or employee of this State who makes public any
information obtained by the Board without its authority, unless
directed by a court, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and,
upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine not exceeding
$5,000, or by imprisonment, not exceeding one year, or by both such
fine and imprisonment, in the discretion of the court.

NOTHING IN THIS ACT SHALL BE CONSTRUED TO EF-
FECT THE CLEANING, PICKING, OR PROCESSING OF WILD
GEESE, DUCKS, QUAIL, PHEASANTS OR OTHER SPECIES
OF WILDLIFE.

197-23 197-24.

The requirements of this Act shall apply to persons, establish-
ments, poultry, poultry products and other articles regulated under
the Federal Poultry Products Inspection Act only to the extent pro-
vided for in Section 23 of said Federal Act.

197-24 197-25.

The cost of inspection under the provisions of this Act, shall be
borne by this State, except as provided in Section 197-5 except the
cost of overtime and holiday work, other than during the 14 day
period immediately prior to both Thanksgiving and Christmas, at
such rates as the Board may determine shall be borne by such estab-
lishments. Sums received by the Board in reimbursement for sums
paid out by it for such premium pay work shall be available without
fiscal year limitation to carry out the purposes of this section. There
are appropriated such sums as may be necessary to carry out the
provisions of this Act.

This subtitle shall not apply to any act or transaction subject to
exclusive regulation under the Federal Poultry Products Inspection
Act; and this subtitle shall not be construed or applied to affect wild
game or wild fowl or the slaughtering or inspection thereof.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That all laws or parts of laws,
public general or public local, inconsistent with the provisions of
this Act are hereby repealed to the extent of any such inconsistency.

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1970.
