§ 11-1406. Turns prohibited.

No vehicular turns shall be made in areas where turns are pro-
hibited by signs or at cross-overs provided for emergency vehicles,
except at the lawful direction of authorized employees of the ve-
hicular crossing.

§ 11-1407. Crossing double white lines prohibited.

Vehicular traffic shall not cross the double white lines designating
the vehicular traffic lanes in the tunnels except at the direction of
authorized personnel. Trucks and slow moving vehicles shall be
driven only in the right hand lane of the tunnels except at the direc-
tion of authorized personnel.

§ 11-1408. Sounding horns or flashing headlights prohibited.

It shall be unlawful for drivers of vehicles to sound their horns or
flash their headlights when traveling in the tunnels.

§ 11-1409. Muffler cut-outs prohibited.

It shall be unlawful to use cut-outs or other devices which allow
exhaust gases to escape a motor without passing through a muffler
or silencer while driving through the tunnels.

§ 11-1410. Posted minimum speeds must be maintained.

When any of the structures included in the term "vehicular cross-
ing" shall have a posted minimum speed on or in any portion thereof,
the posted minimum speed shall be maintained.

§ 11-1411. Vehicular crossings.

(a)    No vehicle shall be permitted on the vehicular crossings, as
defined in this Article, which has a gross load or a gross width, or if
the vehicle and the load thereof exceeds the maximum weight, width
or height prescribed by regulations of the State Roads Commission
of Maryland governing the use of the respective vehicular crossing.
Any person, firm or corporation found guilty of violating this Section
is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished
by a fine of not less than ten dollars ($10.00) or more than one
hundred dollars ($100.00), except in the case of over weight vehicles
where the fine shall be as prescribed by Section 17-104. The driver or
the owner of any vehicle charged with the violation of this section
shall be tried by the magistrate having jurisdiction of the offense, if
committed within a county, or by the Traffic Court of Baltimore City
if the offense is committed within the limits thereof.

(b)    All sections prescribed in this article for the operation of
motor vehicles on highways shall be in full force and effect on the
vehicular crossings as defined in this part, except in cases where those
statutes are specifically modified or changed by this part.
