the activities or employment permitted under the license until the
expiration, suspension, revocation, or cancellation thereof, but in no
case after April 30, 1970

(c)    As used in this part, the term "license" means a license
issued or applied for under this part, unless a contrary meaning is
required by the context.

(d)    As used in this subtitle, the term "salesman" means "vehicle
salesman" as the latter term is defined in subtitle 1.

§ 5-301.1. Application for vehicle salesman's license.

(a)    Application for a license as a vehicle salesman shall be made
upon a form prescribed by the department.

(b)    Every such application shall contain:

1.    The name and residence address of the applicant;

2.    The name and business address of a registered dealer by
whom the salesman will be employed, or if the applicant is himself a
registered dealer the application shall so state.

3.    Other information as the department requires.

(c)    Every application shall be signed by the applicant, who shall
certify that the information given thereon is true and correct.

(d)    Every application shall contain or be accompanied by a
written statement by the registered dealer named in the application
as required by paragraph 2 of subsection (b), which certifies that
the applicant will be accepted for employment as a vehicle salesman
by the registered dealer. The written statement shall be signed on
behalf of the registered dealer by a person authorized under section
5-102 (d) to sign an application by the registered dealer for a dealer's
license. Any registered dealer on whose behalf any statement has
been signed shall immediately notify the department in writing of
the termination of employment of the salesman to whom it pertains,
on forms prescribed by the department.

§ 5-302. Issuance of license certificate.

(a)    The department, upon receiving the application accompanied
by the proper fee and evidence of the proper bond as required in
section 5-305, and when satisfied that the applicant is entitled to the
issuance thereof, shall issue to the applicant a license certificate,
which shall state the name of the registered dealer named in the
application. Every such license shall expire on April 30 of each year,
and may be renewed upon application and payment of the fee re-
quired by this part.

(b)    A duplicate license certificate may be obtained as provided
in subsection (c) of section 5-103.

§ 5-303. Qualifications of salesman.

(a) Only individual natural persons shall be licensed as salesmen
hereunder.
