7.    Special mobile equipment; or

8.    A self-propelled invalid wheel chair or tricycle.

9.    A vehicle in which interest has passed to the lienholder upon
default of the owner.

§ 3-103. Optional certificate of title.

The owner of an implement of husbandry or special mobile equip-
ment may apply for and obtain a certificate of title on it. All of
the provisions of this subtitle are applicable to a certificate of title
so issued, except that a person who receives a transfer of an interest
in the vehicle without knowledge of the certificate of title is not
prejudiced by reason of the existence of the certificate, and the per-
fection of a security interest under this Article is not effective until
the lienholder has complied with the provisions of applicable law
which otherwise relate to the perfection of security interests in per-
sonal property.

§ 3-104. Application for certificate of title.

(a) The owner of every vehicle for which a certificate of title
is required hereunder shall apply to the department for the issuance
of a certificate of title for the vehicle upon the appropriate form or
forms furnished or prescribed by the department. The application
shall contain:

1.    The name in full and the bona fide address of the owner,
including (i) if the owner is an individual, the owner's bona fide
residence and mail addresses; (ii) if the owner is a business firm or
an association or corporation, its business address in this state or
the name and address of a resident agent in this state; (iii) if the
owner is a partnership or joint enterprise, the correct names of the
partners or joint enterprisers; (iv) if the owner is an unincorpo-
rated association or joint stock company as contemplated in Section
138 of Article 23, the designation of the name and address of a
resident agent upon whom service may be made in any law suit
arising out of the ownership, maintenance or use of the vehicle;
(v) if the owner is a trustee, the address of the trust in this state
and the name and address of a person in this state upon whom
service may be made in any law suit arising out of the ownership,
maintenance or use of the vehicle;

2.    A description of the vehicle including, so far as the following
data exist: its make, model, year, identifying number, type of body,
the number of cylinders, and any other information required by the
department;

3.    A statement of the applicant's title to and of all security
interests, liens, or encumbrances upon the vehicle and the names and
addresses of all persons having any interest therein and the nature
of the interest;

4. The signature, written in pen and ink, of (i) every owner who
is an individual; (ii) an officer or authorized agent of the owner, if
the owner is a corporation; (iii) a partner or joint enterpriser, if
the owner is a partnership or joint enterprise; (iv) an officer or
authorized agent, or a trustee, if the owner is an unincorporated
association or joint stock company as contemplated in Section 138 of
Article 23, or a trust: and
