Section 83-108 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince
George's County (1963 Edition), being also subsection (b) of Sec-
tion 71-58 of the Montgomery County Code (1965 Edition), being
Articles 17 and 16, respectively, of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, titled "Prince George's County" and "Mont-
gomery County," both subtitled "Washington Suburban Sanitary
District," as the said subsections were enacted by Chapter 787
of the Acts of 1965, concerning the injunction proceedings to en-
force the laws, rules, regulations, and ordinances of the Wash-
ington Suburban Sanitary District, to provide that in the event a
respondent in an equity suit for an injunction is a nonresident
of the State of Maryland process may be served by publication
pursuant to Rule 105 of the Maryland Rules of Procedure (1957
Edition).

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That subsection (b) of Section 83-108 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Prince George's County (1963 Edition), being also subsec-
tion (b) of Section 71-58 of the Montgomery County Code, (1965
Edition), and being Articles 17 and 16, respectively, of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland, titled "Prince George's County"
and "Montgomery County," subtitled "Washington Suburban Sani-
tary District," as said subsections were enacted by Chapter 787 of
the Acts of 1965, be and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:

83-108. (71-58).

(b) Enforcement by injunction. Upon application of the Wash-
ington Suburban Sanitary Commission, verified by oath or affirma-
tion of a member or employee thereof, the Circuit Court of any
county, sitting in equity, may, by injunction, enforce the compli-
ance with, or restrain the violation of, any order or notice, or
rule or regulation, of the Commission made pursuant to the pro-
visions of this subtitle, or restrain the violation or attempted viola-
tion of any of the provisions of this subtitle, or require the com-
pliance with any of the provisions of this subtitle by any person,
firm or corporation. The Court shall not require the Commission to
post a bond. In the event the respondent in a petition for injunc-
tion pursuant to this subsection is a nonresident of the State of
Maryland, process by publication shall be effected pursuant to Rule
105 of the Maryland Rules of Procedure.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1970.
