CHAPTER 174

(Senate Bill 175)

AN ACT to add a new sub-section to Section 77 of Article
81 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947 Supple-
ment), title "Revenue and Taxes, " sub-title "Tax Sales, "
said section 77 having been amended by Chapter 457
of the Acts of 1949, said new sub-section to be known
as Sub-section (b-1) and to follow immediately after
Sub-section (b) of said Section 77, relating to the cost
of advertising tax sales in Charles County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new sub-section be and it is hereby added to Sec-
tion 77 of Article 81 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1947 Supplement), title "Revenue and Taxes, " sub-title
"Tax Sales, " said Section 77 having been amended by
Chapter 457 of the Acts of 1949, said new sub-section to
be known as Sub-section (b-1) and to follow immediately
after Sub-section (b) of said Section 77 and to read as
follows:

77.

(b-1) In Charles County the cost of publishing in any
one newspaper the advertisement for the tax sale of any
one tract or lot till of which is owned by the same tax de-
linquent or delinquents shall not exceed the sum of $2. 00.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1951.
