Somerset Coty. fst The Deposition of Michael Holland Senr. aged Sixty Six or there about
Being Sworn on ye. Holy Evanglist of Almighty God Deposeth as follows (Vizt) that
about Twenty years ago he ye. said Holland Run out ye. Track of Land Called Pomfret
And that he Begun At a Sedar post at or near ye. place Discribed in Benjamin
Langfords Deposition and that he had been told by his father Michael Holland
Anthony Bell and Nathaniel Horsey all Deceased that ye. afd. Sedar post was ye. first
Bounder of ye. afd. Land Called Pomfret and further Saith not
Somtt Coty. fst The Deposition of Jacob Hearn Aged Twenty Six or there about
being sworn on ye. Holy Evanglist of Almighty God Deposeth as follows (Vizt)
That about Nine years ago he was at School with John Haw where William
Coublourn came with Capt. Michael Holland and took ye. Schoolars from the
School and Sittled a marked post and told this Deponant with rest of ye. Schoolars
to take Notis it was a Bounder of a Tract of Land Called Pomfret belonging to
Coulbourn and believes it Stood in or near the place where ye. afd. William
Coulbourn on this Day Settled a Sedar post marked with Sixteen Notches which
Post Stands to ye. Westward of Divisional fence between Michael HOlland Junr.
and Stephen Horsey & about forty five yards to ye. Westward of ye. County Road
And above one Hundred and ten yards to ye. South Eastward of ye. head of Coulbourns
Creek and this Deponant further Saith not
Somerset County fst The Deposition of Isaac Hearn aged Twenty one years or there
abouts being Sworn on ye. Holy Evanglist of Almighty God Deposeth as follows
Vizt)       that about Nine years ago he was at School with John Haw and
that William Coulbourn Came to ye. School with Capt. Michael Holland and took
the Schoolars from School and went and Setled a marked post in ye. place and
form Discribed in Jacob Hearns Deposition and further Saith not
This is to Certifie that on this day, to wit, on ye. Second day of June in ye. year of our
Lord God one thousand Seven hundred and fifty nine agreeable to our Publick
Advertisements Set up at ye. Great Church Door on ye. Ninth day of May Last
past we did meet on ye. Land Called Pomfret and took ye. Severall Depositions
herein Mentioned to wit ye. Deposition of Benjamin Lankford Capt. Michael
Holland Jacob Hearn and Isaac Hearn given under our Hands and Seals ye.
