Somerset fs^t I hereby Certifie that by Virtue of the Power in the dedimus potestatum that on the 12^th day of
January Last I Administred unto Maj^r. Sampson Wheatly the Several Oaths to the Government who
also Repeated in my Presence the Test and Subscribed the Oath of Abjuration and the Test and I also Certifie

	@	Command was given to the Sheriff of Somerset County that he Should Take Samuel
SW	Samuel Murray	Murray Late of Somerset County Planter if he Should be found in his Bailywick and him Should

Safe keep so that he might have his body before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be
held at Princes Ann Town the third Tuesday of August Anno Dom. one thousand Seven hundred and fifty
Nine to Answer unto John White of A plea of trespass upon the Case &^c. And the Same day is Given to the
af^d. John here &^c       Att which day here Came the af^d. John White by William Allen his Attorney and the
Sheriff to witt John Dennis Gen^t now here Returned that he had taken the af^d. Samuel Murray whose body
here at this day he had Ready to Answer the af^d. John White of the af^d. plea as to him it was Commanded
      Whereupon the Said Samuel Murray at the prayer of the af^d. John White is Adjudged to give Special bail to
the Action af^d. Thereupon a Certain Ephraim Wilson of Somerset County present here in Court in his proper
person Undertook for the Said Samuel Murray that if it Should happen that Judgment in the plea af^d. Should
be Rendred for the Said John White Against the af^d. Samuel Murray or that he the Said Samuel Should be
therein Convict that then he the Said Samuel Should pay and Satisfie unto the af^d. John White the
