said original name, and ratifying such deeds or conveyances as
may have been so made by incorrect names, and having its cor-
porate powers explicitly declared; therefore,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the new Parish set off in 1809 by the Conven-
tion of the Protestant Episcopal Church of the Diocese of
Maryland, at its session of that year, from St. George's Parish
in Harford County, for the convenience of the members of said
Church residing in the then town of Havre de Grace, shall be
known as "Havre de Grace Parish, " and the Vestry organized
in said new Parish under the Vestry Act of 1798, Chapter 24,
and thereby made a body corporate and its successors in said
Pariah, shall be known as the "Vestry of Havre de Grace Par-
ish, " as fully and completely as though said names had been
given by an Act of the General Assembly enacted for that pur-
pose.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That said Vestry by the
original name aforesaid, shall have all and every power and
authority conferred by the said Vestry Act upon each Vestry
duly organized thereunder, and may hold such land or other
property as is authorized by Section 340 of Article 23 of the
Annotated Code of this State.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That all land and other
property conveyed to the said Vestry, by whatsoever name, for
the benefit of said Church or Parish, shall be held by said
Vestry for the use of said Church and Parish as fully and
completely as if the said Vestry had been correctly named in
the deed or other conveyance by which it was attempted to con-
vey the same, and all deeds or other conveyances made by said
Vestry, by whatsoever name or names, shall be as good and
effective to convey the land or other property therein described
as if the said Vestry had been correctly named therein.

CHAPTER 53.
AN ACT to require all vehicles to display lights at night.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That all vehicles in use or at rest on the public
highways of this State or of any city, county, town or village
