Know all men by these p^ents th^t I Henry Adams of the Prouince of
Maryland doe constitute, ordaine, & appoynt my Louing ffreind
Nicholas Gwyther of the same prouince my true & lawfull [At-
torney] to all intents & purposes, as if I my selfe were p^esonally
present, & I doe giue my s^d Attorney as full power as any Attorney
hath, or ought to haue as wittnes my hand this 10^th ffeb. 1658

The plf (p^e Attornat Nicholas Gwyther) euidenceth to the Court,
that Henry Parnell Deceased was indebted unto the plf nine hund^d
ninety Two pownds of Tob, principall Debt & the s^d Parnell goeing
out of the prouince, & not gyuing the plf satisfaction according to
his ingagem^t, tooke out an attatchm^t agst the s^d Parnells Estate &
therfore prouing his s^d Debt to bee iust, demands iudgm^t & satis-

faction out of the Estate formerly attatched, according to the s^d
Parnells Ingagem^t unto the plf, whereuppon Cap^t Samuel Tilghman
came, & sayth th^t the Estate attatched, as belonging to Henry Parnell
deft, was not the defts Estate but did wholly apperteine & belong to
him the s^d Cap^t Tilghman, & was surrendred unto him by the deft
himselfe halfe a yeare att least before the Attatchm^t was layd. It is
therfore Ordered th^t the Attatchm^t be taken of till it bee made ap-
peare th^t the Tob formerly attatched is the defts owne reall Estate or
not.
