Presented, April 1863 Donor, Friends of Gwynn at the Baltimore City Bar Association Owner, Library Company of the Baltimore Bar Private Career: 1st Vice President of the Hibernian Society of Baltimore Public Service: Tax Commissioner, Baltimore County, 1798 Baltimore City Counselor, 1840-1841 Editor of the Federal Gazette and Baltimore Daily Advertiser, 1812-1833 Comments: Member of the Hibernian Society of Baltimore City which helped with the construction of the Washington Monument in Washington D.C. The members’ names appear on West wall at the 280-foot level of the Monument.
