Rogers, William, in March 1780 advertised he had opened a grammar school at George Town on Potomac, a place well know to be healthy for such young gentlemen as desire to be taught the learned languages. The morals of the students are particularly attended to (MJBA7 March 1780).  Rogers was Master of QA Co. Free School, 31 Dec 1785-1787 (MHM 6:15).
