Conn, Edward, (MSA SC5300-80), was in HA Co. in  1785 when Henry Crosby, an orphan boy, aged 13 on 3 March 1785, was bound with the consent of his mother until he reached age 21, to Edward Conn who was to teach him to read, write, and cypher as far as the rule of three, with the usual freedoms until the age at 21 (Henry Peden, Abstracts of Harford County Orphans Court Proceedings, 1778-1800, p. 24).
