Alwinkle, Isaac (MSA SC5300-508), of DO Co.,  was teaching c1738 when William Trego, age c57, deposed in 1773/4 that he had been "at school to Isaac Alwinkle's" about 35 or 36 years earlier (DOLR 27 Old:38). In Dec 1774 Mary Navey, age c50, deposed that her (unnamed) husband had gone to school to Isaac Alwinkle at the head of Peason's Creek, where the schoolhouse stood (DOLR 28 Old:173).
