ONLY KEY CITY AND TOWN NAMES ARE INCLUDED, EXCEPT FOR AROUND THE BALTIMORE-WASHINGTON AREA, WHICH IS MORE DETAILED. FORTS ARE LOCATED AS ARE RAIL LINES AND ROADS. A TABLE OF DISTANCES LISTS 8 POINT-TO-POINT DISTANCES. THE ONLY REFERENCE TO THIS MAP FOUND THUS FAR IS THE LIBRARY OF CONGRESS CATALOG CARD (G3840 1861 .A8). THEIR COPY IS HAND COLORED.
