Ogilby, John

  • Noua Terrae-Mariae tabula. This is the ed.2 of the Lord Baltimore map of 1635. It was first published in Ogilby's America in 1671. It is the first map to name the counties of Maryland. It adds a line of trees at the north to reflect Baltimore's claims to more land in southern Pa. 1635 [1671]. MSA SC 1399-1-187 [HFC 171O5]
