In June 2014, State Department of Assessments and Taxation established Assessment Work Group (Chapter 464, Acts of 2014). Work Group reviewed process for real and personal property assessments, and examined issues related to calculating and administering tax credits and exemptions.

PUBLIC UTILITY & FINANCIAL SECTION
Under Business Services and Finance Division, Section functions were divided between Utility and Railroad Valuation, and Franchise Taxes in Nov. 1996.
Abolished in 2009.
