Born in Brooklyn, New York, April 19, 1924. Attended Girls' High School, Brooklyn, New York; Brooklyn College, 1942-45; College of St. Rose, 1970-71. Board of Trustees, Goucher College, 1981-94 (trustee emeritus). Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Status and Welfare of Women, Baltimore Chapter, National Organization for Women. Award for Unique Achievement in the Field of Community Relations in honor of the 76th Anniversary of the DuBois Circle. Distinguished Women Award, Girl Scouts of Central Maryland, 1986. Charles H. Cushman Award for outstanding professional achievement, Eastern Region, International Personnel Management Association, 1986.
