Consultant, U.S. Department of Health and Human Resources, Congressional Black Caucus, and Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. President, GLOBETown Associates, a counsulting service. Former teacher, District of Columbia and Charles County Public Schools. President, Charles County Public Schools Education Foundation. Member, Charles County Democratic Central Committee, 2000- (past chair). Delegate, Democratic Party National Convention, 2016. Past president, Southern Maryland Chain Chapter, The Links, Inc.
