By: Sarah Davis Elias

C.H Fairfax Company, 2010

"A history of the Black hospital of Baltimore, MD, a facility for training Black doctors and nurses and one that would respond to the health and medical needs of the city. This hosptial was to be a separate but equal facility for the minority and dominant groups. The uniqueness and success of this facility was used as a prototype for health service officials and philanthropists such as the Rockerfellers who used it towards financing other hosptials across the Nation with high Black populations."
