The Potomac Chapter of the Guild of Book Workers
held their monthly meeting at the Archives and provided a demonstration
on the uses of the vacuum suction table. Renate Mesmer, President
of the Potomac Chapter and assistant Head of Conservation at the Folger
Shakespeare Library, demonstrated
document washing and pulp fills.
