Biography:
Jimmy escaped from Caleb
Jones' farm in St. Mary's County on August 22, 1813. He fled with another
slave, Jack, and they were later joined by six other slaves from Jones' farm: Job,
Peter,
Luce,
James,
Suckey,
and Abraham.1
