River. This intelligence is corroborated by other information received
from a trooper so far as respects their march to Marlboro. The trooper
says the British army left the Ball room (which is four miles from Q Ann)
before sun rise this morning on their way to Marlboro. As to the future
destination of the army to Baltimore River, it's the account of a deserter
& you will appreciate it accordingly..."

[British ships harrassing shipping in Bay]...This morning [Nov. 13] a frigate
accompanied by two barges came up nearly opposite to this place [AN], in
chase of two small schooners, which they captured. Immediatly after which
the frigate hove about and [started?] down the Bay. One of the schooners
appeares to have been run on shore..."
