Plaintiff maintained that Richard (her father) lived there as a lodged and held the account with her as a convenience. Sanks wanted to withdraw the money in the account. Agreed and settled, March 27, 1922. Reported in the Afro on March 24, 1922.

Kelly Lewis v. Martha Lewis and Provident Savings Bank of Baltimore
Davis for plaintiff. Filed March 29, 1922. Kelly alleged that she gave Martha $600 to hold for him, but that Martha put it into an account at Provident Savings Bank. Filing by the bank indicates that there was never that much money involved. Bill of complaint dismissed, injunction dissolved, February 2, 1923. Reported in the Afro on April 7, 1922.
