agreement made  on April llth,   1913, with the Luck Construction Company,   of Roanoke,   Virginia,   for  resurfacing thi-t portion of the Harford  Road beginning at Winter's  Run and ending at the town limits  of Bolair,   in Harford County,   a distance of about l.l>0 miles, was ratified and approved.

Upon motion of Mr.   Ramsay,   seconded by Mr.  Goslin,   it was voted  that    Chief 3ngineer  Shirley's recommendation,   under date of April 26th,   1913,   that  the  contract for  the  improvement of a section of road leading from Piney Grove  to Grantsville,   in Garrott County,   for a distance  of about  3.03 miles,   being our Contract ^-9,  be av/arded Fogel &  Company,   at  their bid of $26,105.68,   provided satisfactory arrangements  can te   made with them for the  amount  of stone which has  been taken  ^ut by  the State   Roads Commission,   be approved.
Upon motion of Mr.   Ramsay,   seconded by Mr.   Goslin,   the contract  for the  improvement  of a  section of road running from Six Mile    House   to Flintstone,   in ,.llegr.ny  County,  a distance  of about  3.11 miles,   being  our Contract #0145-3,  waa awarded to Mr.   .7.   C.   3vano,   at his bid  of $21,660.95,   for a macadam roadway, as recommended by Chiof Engineer Shirley,   in his letter of April i>4th,   1913.
Upon motion  of Mr.   Miller,   seconded by Mr.  Goslin,   the contract for the  improvement of the road  leading from Wayside to Rock Point,   in Charles County,   a distance  of about 5.02 miles, being our Contract #0154-A, wae awarded to Mr.   H.  S.  Swann,   at his bid of $23,433,83,  as recommended by Chief Sngineer Shirley, in his  letter  of April 26th,   1913.
Upon motion of Mr.   Ramsay,  seconded by Mr.  Miller,   the contract for the  improvement of a section of road leading from Wayside to Rock Point,   in Charles County, a distance of about 4.75 miles, being our Contract #0154-B, was awarded to Mr. 0* H» Hoyt,  at his bid of $39,376.79, with the understanding that h»
