Approval of recommendation of Chief 3ngineer Shir ley, relative to final payment on Main St., in Laurel, Contract #08-B, State Rood #1, and tho acceptance. of tho work under tho agreement as eat forth.
Upon motion of Mr* Miller, seconded by Dr. Clark, the recommendation of Chief Engineer Shirley, dated February 25th, 1913, that the Hassam Paving Company, Contractors, be paid thalr final estimate of $1239.74, for work done on Main Street, in tba village of Laurel, In Prince George's Oounly, being our Contract #08-B, on State Road £l, was approved, as wae Chief Engineer Shirley'e further recommendation that the work be aoeepted, under the agreement that the Contractor maintain the road In good condition for a period of five years, and that if, during the period of five years, the section of work thereon with an Improper cross slope, should show signs of greater wear than the other portions of the street, the Contractor be required to remove this section and replace it to the props r grade and slope.

Upon motion of Mr. Ramsay, seconded by Mr. Miller, the bid of Carozza, Lavezea & Carozza, for the construction of about one mile of State Road from Cranberry to Mexloo, In Carroll County, being our Contract #0207, for the amount of $16,027,40, was accepted.
Upon motion of Dr. Clark, seconded by Mr. Miller, the bid of the Juniata Paving Company, of $19,899, for building the road from Locust Grove toward Galena, in Kent County, a distance of about 2 miles, being our Contract #0124, was accepted*
