Page'463, Approval of Minutes, Upon motion of Mr. Miller, seconded by Mr. Goslin, the "minutes of the meeting of January 7th, 1913, were approved. Upon motion of Mr. Goslin, seconded by Mr. Ramsay, the recommendation of Chief Engineer Shirley, dated January 9th, 1913, Recommendation of Chief Sngineor that the Juniata Paving Company, Contractors on our Contract Shirley, r .• lative to final payment on Contract #05, Juniata #05, from the bridge over the Patapeco Hiver to the overhead Paving Company, Contractors, approved. crossing of the B. & 0., Railroau on State Roao fl, be charged $77.50,, tho cost of Inspection for overtime, was approved, and tho balanoo on final payment on this contract, amounting to $535.85, was ordered paid. Ipon notion of Dr. Clark, seconded by Jar. Miller, the final payment for v/ork done by tho LJ. J. Grove Lime Company, oh the Final payment for v/ork done by Jefferson Pike, in Frederick County, our Contract #0242, amounting the M. J. Grove Lime Company on Contract #0242 approved. to .$5,787.61, was approved, subject to a charge for inspection of $847.11, as recommended by Chief "iiginoer Shirley, in his letter of January 9th, 1913, making the amount due the contractor $4940.50, less $4500 advanced, which leaves a balance of $440.50 to be paid the contractor. Approval of the appointment of Mr. Harry 7aldorf, as Roads Engineer of Caroline County. Approval of franchise granted by the Mayor & City Council of Bladensburg, on tho Baltimore-?teshington Road. Contractors. Upon motion of Mr. Goslin, seconded by Dr. Clark, the appointment of Mr. Harry ,/aldorf as Roads 3ngineer of Caroline County, was approved, in conformity .with the last paragraph of Section £07, Chapter 198,.Page 673, Laws of 1910. Upon motion of Mr. Goslin, seconded by Mr. Miller, the franchise granted by tho Mayor and City Council of Bladensburg, in Prince George's County, on the Baltimore & Washington Boulevard, granted on January 7th, 1915, was approved. Upon motion of Mr. Mi.~ler, seconded by Mr. Ramsay, the recommendation of Chief Engineer Shirley, dated February 25th, that the P.ickey-Swann Company, Contractors on Contract 2, on the road leading from \Valdorf toward the St. Mary's County Line, be charged $3 per day for cost of inspection for 100 days' delay, amounting to $300, is hereby approved, and tho balance on final payment of $869 is ordered paid. Upon motion of Mr. Goslin, seconded by Mr. Miller, the final estimate of work done by the Juniata paving Company, on the road between Kenneuyville and Locust Grove, in Kent approved, as recommended by Chief Sngineer Shirley, in his letter of February 10th, 1913. An advance paynent of $2500 deducted from the $2993.34, leaves a balance due the Contractor of $493.34, which was ordered paid. Upon motion of Mr. Miller, seconded by Dr. Clark, the final za on payment Fisher & Carozza, Approval of recommendation of Chief Bnginser ShlrZey, relative1 u , in Dorchester County, our Contract #239, was approved, as recommended by Chief Engineer Shirley, in hie letter of February 21st, 1913.
