Howard Street, Baltimore, lid., this IVednesday, July 10th, 1912, at 9.30 A. H. Present: Chairman Weller, Dr. Remsen, Messrs. Ramsay, Miller and Goalin. The minutes of the meeting of the Commission held June 26th, 1912, were read and approved. Moved by Dr. Hemsen, seconded by Mr. Ramsay, that the Question of taking over Chester matter of taking over the Chester River Bridge, and paying for the Riv. Bdge. referred to Counsel, bridge-keeper, be referred to Counsel, for advice and recommendation. The motion was carried. Binder for State Aid Contract #224A in Anne Arundel County. Application for franchise by Bllioott City Water Company to lay pipe on Columbia Tnpk, 3xtenBlon of time on Contract #0240 (I. G. Robinson) to Sept. 1, 1912. ?ork of Hasaam Paving Co. on Contract #0270 accepted. Contract for Bridge across Jaint Branoh on State Road #1, approved. ftoatraot #0194 for section of thro' Brooklyn, approved. Moved by Dr. Rensen, seconded by Mr. Miller, that the application of the Board of County Commissioners of Anne Arundel County for State Aid in applying a binder to State Aid Road ;?224A, be referred to the Chairman and Chief Engineer with power to act . The motion was carried. Moved by Dr. Remsen, seconded by Mr. Ramsay, that the matter of the application of the Sllioott City ffater Company for a franchise or right to Icy a main on the Colxiabia Turnpike in Howard County, be referred to the Chairman, Chief Sngineer and Counsel for report and recommendation to the Commission. The notion was carried. Moved by Mr. Goslin, seconded by Mr. Miller, that the time for the completion of Contract of I. G. Robinson, our Contract #0240, known as the Hew Market-Hew London Road in Frederick County, be extended to September 1, 1912, with the understanding that the contractor shall put oil a sufficient number of nen and teams to complete the work by that date. The motion was carried. Moved by Mr. Ransay, seconded by Mr. Miller, that the final estimate, amounting to $11,671.04, of the Hassam Paving Company, our Contract #0270 on the Baltimore & Annapolis Boulevard, be approved, and that the work be accepted and the bond released. The motion was carried. Moved by Mr. Miller, seconded by Mr. Raras&y, that Contract #012, Section 10, for building a bridge across Paint Branch on State Road #1, in Prince George's County, entered into with Claiborne, Johnston & Co., be approved. The motion was carried. Moved by Mr. Ramsay, seconded by Mr. Goslin, that Contract #0194 with B. F. Sweeten fc^onr, for building a road through the village of Brooklyn, in Anne Arundel County, at the foot of Light Street Bridge, dated July 8th, 1912, be, and the same is hereby approved.
