Present:  Governor Goldsborou^h, Chairman "7ollor, Dr. Clark, I-Iessrs. Millor, Ramsay and Goslin.
The minutes of the meeting of the Commission of I.lay 23rd, 1912, v/oro read and approved.
lioved by Governor Goldsborou^h, seconded by Dr. Clark, that the bid of the Juniata navinj Company on Contract #05 of State Hoed #1, amounting to $10886.56 as against our estinate of $9716.04, be rejected, in accordance with the recommendation of the Chiof Sngineer. The motion was adopted.
Jioved by Mr. Ramsay, seconded by Governor ^oldsborough, that the bid of U. D. Rich on Contract #06-B, State Road #1, amounting to $10997.40 as against our estimate of $10632.84, be accepted, and that the contract bo awarded to U. D. Rich.  The motion was adopted.
It was moved by Governor Goldsborough, seconded by Mr. Ramsay, that the resignation of I.lr. W. W. Crosby, as Chief Engineer of the State Roads Commission, bo, and the same is hereby accepted, to take effect from June 15, 1912, and that Mr. Crosby be retained as Consulting Engineer for the Commission from June 15, 1912, to August 1, 1912, at the same rate of salary he has heretofore received,
