Miller of iVioomico County, and Mr. Andrew Ramsay of Allegany County. Upon motion of Governor Goldsborough, seconded by Dr. Rerasen, the minutes of the meeting of the Commission held May 16, 1912, were approved as road. Chairman '.Teller stated that notice had been served on Bush, Holler and Smith, contractors on the section of the Washington Boulevard between Contoe and Beltsville, and on their bondsmen, by the Chief Engineer, informing the contractors that unless more satisfactory progress was made on their contract, the Commission would be compelled to take sane over and arrange for its completion. Chairman 'Jeller stated, that since the said notice was served, he had been advised that the contractors had put on an extra force, and that they are now pushing the work vigorously. Governor Goldsborough then moved that Bush, Holler and Smith and their bondsmen be notified that the Commission has received notice that they have begun to push more vigorously the work on their contract, and that if such work so begun progresses satisfactorily to completion, action on the notice so served upon then by the Chief Sngineor, will be withheld, but if not, that the Commission will take such steps to abrogate their contract as are called for under said contract. The motion was seconded by Mr. Miller, and adopted. Dr. Clark moved that the bids to be received at noon on Sections 10, 13 and 14-B of State Road #1, be referred to the Chairman, with power to act. The motion being seconded by Dr. Remsen, was adopted. On motion, duly seconded, the Commission adjourned to meet at its offices in the Union Trust Building, on Wednesday, May 29th, 1912, at 10:30 A.
