Counsel to bring suit against Dr. Theodore Cooke. 3nploynent of IJr. Prank H. Zouck. A Special Meeting of the State Roads Commission was held at its offices, in the Union Trust Building, Baltimore, Md., this Friday, April 19th. 1912, at 10 A. M. Present: Chairman teller, Dr. Remsen, Dr. Clark, Messrs. Shoemaker, Hutton and Lloyd. The minutes of the meeting of the Commission held April 15th, 1912, were road and approved. Messrs. J. XociiJ Bartlett and D. V. Ault appeared before the Commission to argue Mr. Ault's claim, and after discussion, it was moved by Dr. Clark, seconded by LIr. Lloyd, that the matter be referred to a sub-committee, consisting of Mr. Benson, Mr. Crosby and Dr. Pemsen, in place of Former Chairman Tucker, to report at a subsequent meeting of the Commission. This motion was passed. Dr. Clark moved that the resolution previously passed by the Commission, authorizing the plugging of the private sewer of Dr. Theodore Gooke on the Harford ?oad, be revoked, and the matter of bringing suit on the bond for the amount due, be placed in the hands of the Counsel. The motion being seconded by Dr. Hemsen, was adopted. On motion of Dr. Hensen, seconded by Ur. Shoemaker, the Chairman was authorized to employ Mr. Frank H. Zouck, as his assistant, at a salary of $1800. per annum, to begin April 22nd, 1912. LIr. Hutton moved that Counsel be authorized to make demand upon Mr. Slagle, Receiver for the Baltimore & Fredorloktown Turn-Demand to bo made upon LIr. pike Company, for the $100. paid for toll house on the Frederick Slagle for price of toll house Turnpike, beyond 311ioott City, claimed by Mr. J. Booker Clark, on Balto.& Frederioktown Pike, and that Mr. Clark be requested to remove the toll house from the right-of-way of the turnpike. The motion being seconded by Dr. Hemsen, was adopted.
