Ad j ournme nt, The Chairman submitted a communication under date of March 15th, from the Linganore Copper Co., regarding the closing of the State Road between Hew Market and Hew London in Frederick County by the contractor, Mr. Ira G. Robinson. On motion of Mr. Shoemaker, seconded by Mr. Lloyd, this matter was referred to the Chairman, with power. Mr. George W. MoCubbin, under date of March 8th, '12, requested the Commission to grant him permission to lay about 500 feet of water pipe from the town limits of Aberdeen in Harford County. Mr. Shoemaker moved that Mr. McCubbin's request be granted, provided the work covered by the permit is done under the supervision and to the satisfaction of the Commission, and that the pipe so laid be subject to removal upon order of the Commission, Mr. McCubbin to be charged the actual cost of the supervision and inspection on this work, The motion being seconded by Mr. Button, was adopted. The Chairman submitted Bill Ho. 261 introduced in the House of Delegates by Mr. talker of Queen Anne's County, directing the State Roads Commission to accept the bridge across the Chester River at Chestertown, connecting Queen Anne's and Kent Counties. After discussion, no action was taken by the Commission in the matter. The Chief Bngineer reported that the Baltimore County Water & Sleotric Company had done work on certain roads without obtaining permits frori the Commission. On motion of Mr.Button, seconded by Mr. Lloyd, the matter was referred to the Counsel, with authority to secure such legislation as to penalties as he deems proper, Mr. Shoemaker moved that the Chairman be requested to arrange with Mr. Bartlett, Counsel for D.7.Ault, a date for Mr. Bartlett to appear.before the Commission in the interest of Kr. Ault's claim for work on the tfestport and Harford Roads. The motion being seconded by Mr. Lloyd, was carried. Dr. Clark moved that all bills, this day approved by the Auditing Committee, be paid. The motion being seconded by Mr. Lloyd, was adopted. On motion of Mr, Shoemaker, seconded by Mr. Button, the Commission adjourned to meet at its offices, on Monday, * March 25th, 1912, at 11 o'clock A. M. ADJOURNED: Attest: u&wrsj
