construction of said Road, the amount of money already expended, the amount of money available for the further construction of said •road, and the parts of said Road uncompleted. Also what amount or amounts of money not now available or appropriated will be required in their judgment for the completion of the said Road and the said Commission is requested to specify the several amounts, if any, they consider necessary for the completion of each particular uncompleted portion of said Road."
The Hatlonal Surety Company under date of February 29th, requested the Commission to hold up any further payments due on account of work on Contract #0151 in Charles County to the Rickey-Swann Company until all outstanding claims for labor and material on this contract are satisfied. On motion of Dr, Remsen, seconded by Mr. Shoemaker, this matter was referred to Counsel for an opinion, pending the receipt of which, all payments on this contract are to be withheld*
Dr. Remsen moved that the question as to whether the State
Bequest of Mr. Shirley to     Roads Commission has the authority to grant the request of Roads have pipe placed under tracks Bngineer Shirley to place a box or pipe to carry water underneath of U.B.Co.on York Road.       the tracks of the United Railways Company to the east side of the
York Road in Baltimore County, be referred to Counsel, and if, in his opinion the Commission has such power, that Mr. Shirley's request be granted. The motion was seconded by Mr. Lloyd, and adopted.
Question of payments on Contract with Kickey-Swann Co. (0151) referred to Counsel.
Question of permission to Clarence TJ. Griffin to lay pipe on Park Hghts.Ave. referred to Counsel & Ch.Sngr.
Interest on Assigned Acots. to be paid.

Dr. Clark moved that the agreement between the United Railways & Bleotrio Company and Clarence 11. Griffin granting Mr. Griffin permission to lay an 8" pipe alongside of the tracks and under the right-of-way of the United Railways Company on Park Heights Avenue, be referred to the Counsel and Chief Sngineer for report. The motion being seconded by Mr. Shoemaker, was adopted.
On motion of Mr. Shoemaker, seconded by Mr* Button, the Chairman was authorized to pay all claims for Interest due on assigned accounts, after same have been examined and found correct.
On motion of Dr. Rerosen, seconded by Dr. Clark, the report on the work of the Commission since its organization, as submitted by the Committee appointed January E5th, was adopted.
Dr. Clark moved that all bills this day approved by the Auditing Committee, be paid, fhe motion was seconded by Mr. Lloyd, and adopted*
On motion, duly seconded, the Commission adjourned.
