Flanigan & Sons on account of work done on Contract £0254 {Garrison Ave. -Baltimore City), this resolution to be in lieu of the resolution passed on the 15th instant authorizing the payment of not less than $16,000 on account of this contract. The motion being seconded by Mr. Shoemaker, was adopted. On motion of Mr. Shoemaker, seconded by Mr, Lloyd, the Chairman was requested to notify Mr. ?. Flanigan & Sons that as soon as a statement of their claim on account of work done on the Harford Road (Contract f0251) is filed with the Commission, same will be given prompt consideration. Mr. Shoemaker moved that the final estimate of work done on Contract #0188 (Liberty Road - Baltimore County) by Messrs. P. Flanigan & Sons, amounting to $£547.12, be paid, the work accepted, and bond released. The motion was seconded by Mr. Lloyd, and adopted. Dr. Hemsen moved that Hr. »7. C. 3vans be paid for 275 tons of stone 6 $1.£5 per ton (as per estimate of the Engineer's office), in settlement of his claim for 300 tons of stone on Contract #0111 on account of sane having been shortened. On motion of Dr. Remsen, seconded by Mr. Hutton, the question of drainage from the Blue P.ibbon Laundry Company into the Philadelphia Road, was referred to Counsel. Mr. Shoemaker moved that the request of the County Coianissioners of Caroline County to construct under the State Aid Law the Denton-I7illow Pond Road be granted, provided the County Connieslonere will bear the State's share of the expense, the County to be reimbursed by this Commission when funds become available. The motion was seconded by Mr. Lloyd, and adopted. On notion of Mr. Shoemaker, seconded by Mr* Lloyd, the Chairman was requested to reply to a communication from Capt. Willard Thompson, 7. P. of the B. C. & A.
