There being no second, Mr. Button's motion was lost. On motion of Dr. Remsen, seconded by Mr. Button, it was agreed that the road from the District Line entering Anne Arundel County by way of Bardesty, in Prince George's County, be taken up for improvement. Dr. Clark moved that changes in the engineering department's forces as reported by the Chief Engineer under date of February 1st, 1'J12, be approved. The motion was seconded by Dr. Remsen, and adopted. Dr. Clark moved that all bills this day approved by the Auditing Committee, be paid. The motion was seconded by Mr. Lloyd, and adopted. Adjustment of overpayment to Juniata Paving Company and J.i Silver Sc Co. i Report of Committee on claims of D.JT.Ault approved. A Special Meeting of the State Roads Commission was held at its offices in the Union Trust Building, Baltimore, Md,, tola Monday, February 19th, 1912, at 11 o'clock A. M. Present: Chairman Tucker, Dr. Remsen, Dr. Clark, Messrs. Shoemaker, Button and Lloyd. Dr. Remsen moved that the matter of adjusting an overpayment of $670. to the Junlata Paving Company on Contract #0104 in Queen Anne's County, and $2000. to J. W. Silver & Company on Contract #0170 in Harford County, be referred to the Chairman and Counsel. The motion was seconded by Mr. Shoemaker, and adopted. Mr. Shoemaker moved that the report of the Committee in the matter of claims of D. 7. Ault on Contract #0181 (Westport Road), and #0183 (Barford Road), recommending a payment of about $6500. to Mr. Ault in settlement of his claims, be approved, and |
