Page 388. Survey and Sstimate of borrow material on Contract #0122. Laying of tracks of Spa Spring & Gretta Railway CO. on Sand Street - Bladensburg. Resolutions regarding report submitted to General Assembly, Papers forwarded to Senate by Chairman. On motion of Dr. Clark, seconded by Dr. Remsen, the request of the Juniata Paving Company to have a survey said estimate made of borrow material on Contract #0122 in Kent County, was referred to the Chief Sngineer. With respect to the request of the Washington Spa Springs tc Gretta Railway Company to lay tracks on Sand Street in Bladeneburg, the Chief Sngineer recommended the granting of same under the following conditions: First: That no further privileges be granted this Company until they shall have lived up satisfactorily to the conditions of the first privilege granted then on the Baltimore-lFadi ington Road. Second: Thct such work as may bo done by them on Sand Street under this request shall be done under the supervision and to the satisfaction of the Engineering Department of this Commission. Third: That any changes at any time required by your Commission in the work done by the Railway Company in the meantime shall be made promptly by the Railway Company on demand of the State Roads Commission and to its satisfaction at the expense of the Railway Co. On motion of Dr. Clark, seconded by Dr. Remsen, the engineer's recommendations were adopted. On motion of Mr. Shoemaker, seconded by Dr. Clark, the following resolution was adopted: "7H323A8 this Commission has learned that in response to a resolution of the Senate of Maryland, there has been submitted a document purporting to be a report of this Comaiseion, and WHBRBaS, at a meeting of this Comnieeion held on the twenty fifth day of January, 1912, by a unanimous vote of the Commission, a Committee was appointed for the purpose of preparing such a report for the approval of this Commission, and if by it approved, for sntanission to the General Assembly of Maryland, and WHT3R3AS, said Committee has not yet submitted such a report to this Commission, by reason of the fact that the audit of the accounts of this Commission, heretofore by it authorized, has not yet been completed, RBSOLVSD, that any report heretofore submitted to the Senate of Maryland was so submitted without the authority of this Commission, and Is not to be taken or considered as its report. FURTHER RBSOLVSD that a copy of these resolutions be forwarded to the President of the Senate of ISaryland."
