Hutton, Counsel to the Board was requested to confer with the County Comnie-eioners of Anno Arundel County \vith reference to repairing the bridge over the Severn River, and to state to them that this Commission will pay one-half of the cost of said repairs, provided the total amount does not exceed $2,000. On notion of Dr. Clark, seconded by Governor Goidcborou^h, Petition for. road from Soionon's a petition from the County Commissioners of Calvort County, for tho to Prince Frederick. construction of the road frora Soionon's to Prince Frederick, was referred to the Chief Engineer for report. In compliance with the report of the Board, the Chief Engineer submitted a written report under date of January llth, 1912, as to the claim of the Luten Bridge Company for damages to bridge on Contract #0255 ovor Herring Pun, caused by the flood of August 4th, 1911. Governor Goldsborough moved that a Committee of three members of the Board be appointed, the Chair to l»e one of said Cornnittee, to take up this clain of the Luten Bridge Company for adjustment. The motion was seconded by Dr. Clark, and adopted. The Chairnan noned as the other members of said Committee, Dr. Remson, and Mr. Hutton. On notion of Dr. Clark, seconded by Dr. P.emeen, tho Chairman was authorised to reply to a petition from certain citizens of Petition for road from Hopewell Frederick County for assistance in building a road from Hopowoll Committee appointed to take up claim of Luten Bridge Company. School House to Unionville. Assignment of ',7m. M. Slder approved. School House to Unionvillo, in Frederick County, stating that as this road is not a part of the State's System, the Commission is not in a position to improve sane at this tine, but would suggest that application be made as a State Aid P.oad in accordance with Chapter 217, section 34, Acts of 1910. Mr. Hutton moved that the Chairman's action in accepting and approving assignment of Wra. M. 31der of estimate of work done to December 28th, 1911, on Contract #0180, amounting to $5809.80, to the national Itfarine Bank of Baltimore, Md., be approved. The motion was seconded by Mr. Shoemaker, and adopted. On motion of Mr. Hutton, seconded by Mr. Shoemaker, the following estimates vrere approved for payment: Estimated approved for payment P. F.
