Page 366. Baltimore, Md., December llth, 1911* Seventy-first Meeting, Present. Reading of Minutes, Claim of Luten Bridge Company referred to Chief 3ngineer. A Special Meeting of the State Roads Commission was held at its offices in the Union Trust Building, Baltimore, Md., this Monday, December llth, 1911, at 10:30 A. M. Present: Governor Crothers, Chairman Tucker, Messrs. P.emsen, Clark, Shoemaker, Button and Lloyd. The minutes of the previous meeting of the Board were read and approved. On motion of Dr. Clark, seconded by Dr. Remsen, the claim of the Luten Bridge Company for damages to the Herring Run Bridge (Contract #0265) was referred to the Chief Engineer, with the request that he report to the Board at its next meeting. Mr. George M. Freoh, contractor, requested the Board to grant him the privilege of placing limestone along his contract #0203-A & Bf in Carroll County during the winter when teams could be secured at a more reasonable figure than during the summer, and that he be allowed an estimate on same. On motion of Dr. Hensen, seconded by Mr. Lloyd, Mr, Freoh was permitted to have the limestone for his contracts in Carroll County placed along the road during the winter, and the Chief Engineer was instructed to allow such an estimate on this limestone as he may think proper. Dr. Clark moved that the question of borrowing money by Question of loan for State the Commission for use on State Road work, be referred to Counsel, Road work referred to Counsel, with the request that he report to the Board at the earliest possible date. This motion was seconded by Dr. Herns en, and adopted. Limestone for use on Contract #0203-A & B - Geo M. Frech, Contractor. Claim of P.F.Connolly for delay referred to 3ngineer« Estimate ordered paid. Dr. Clark moved that the clain of Peter F. Connolly for delay on Contract #0131 in Prince George's County, be referred to the Chief Sngineer for report at the earliest possible date ; and that his estimate for work done on Contract #0133 to November 23rd, 1911, amounting to $7252.14, be approved for payment. The motion was seconded by Dr. Hensen, and adopted.
