Rp-TA Page 367, Awarding of Contract for Wast- Mr. Shoemaker moved that tho awarding of Contract $0208 minster-Manchester Rd. referred in Carroll County, be referred to the Chairman and Chief Engineer, to Chairman and Engineer. with power. The motion was seconded by lir. Lloyd, and adopted. On motion of Llr. Hutton, seconded by Mr. Lloyd, the Chairman was authorized to award Contract #0271-0 in Anne Arundel County to Mr. George Jewell, Annapolis, Md., at his bid, $45,442.60 provided he ie found to be financially responsible ; and the Chairman is convinced he will complete the contract within the tine specified; otherwise, to award same to the next lowest bidder. Contract awarded Geo. Jewell for road between Revell-Boon. Contract not awarded for Owings -Mt. Zion Road.#0190-8. Irregular bid on Owings-Prince Frederick Road. 3xtension of time on Contract ,f0262 (Uantiooke Bridge) Extension of time on Contracts HOB. 251 end 252. Approved bills ordered paid, Paving on Contract #0254 Garrison Avenue. Motion to adjourn. Adjournment. On notion of Mr. Hutton, seconded by Mr. Shoemaker, the awarding of Contract ^0190-S in An^e ^rundel County, was held in abeyance. The bid of the Juniata Paving Company on Contract £030-S in Culvert County was not considered by tho Board, because of irregularities. Mr. Shoemaker moved that the time for tho completion of work on Contract 7/0262 (Jlantiooke Bridge), be extended from llov ember 1st, 1911, to February 1st, 1912, as requested by the Contractors, the Roanoko Bridge Company. The motion was seconded by Mr. Hutton, and adopted. On motion of Dr. Clark, seconded by Mr. Lloyd, the time for the completion of work on Contract *251 (Newark Road) and ilo. 252 (Barksdalo Road) Sttte Aid Contracts in Cecil County, was extended from November 1st, 1911, to September 1st, 1912. Dr. Clark moved that all bills, this day approved by the Auditing Committee, be paid. The notion was seconded by Mr. Lloyd, and adopted. On motion of Mr. Shoemaker, seconded by Dr. Clark, the Chairman was directed to communicate with Messrs. P. Flanigan & Sons regarding the paving on Contract #0254 (Garrison Avenue) on receipt of information from the City. On motion, duly seconded, the Commission adjourned. ADJOURIT3D: Attest! Chairman.
