Governor Crothera moved that Chairman Tucker be authorized to draw his warrant on the Comptroller of the Treasury in the amount of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000) to cover expenses of State Aid work. The motion was seconded by Mr. Shoemaker, and adopted.
The Chief Engineer addressed a communication to the Board under date of September 16th, recommending that the bridge over Hock Creek, llorbeok Hoad (Contract f0232) in Montgomery County, be accepted and the Contractor paid in full according to the final estimate on this work, and the bond released. On motion of Mr. Shoemaker, seconded by Governor Crothers, the recommendations of the Chief Engineer were approved.
On motion of Mr. Shoemaker, seconded by Governor Crothers, the notice to the United Railways & Electric Company to change its tracks, road-bed and overhead structures on First Street, Brooklyn, from the Patapsco Hiver to Patapsoo Avenue in Anne Arundel County, was approved, subject to the approval of the Counsel to the Commission, and such changes as he may find necessary to make in said notice.
Mr. Shoemaker moved that the work under Contract j?0£50 on the Falls Poad in Baltimore City be accepted, the final estl- -mat* paid, and the bond released, and the City Authorities so notified. The motion was seconded by Mr. Lloyd, and adopted.
On motion of Mr. Shoemaker, seconded by Mr. Lloyd, the question of the paymont of a semi-final estimate to the Juniata Paving Company on Contract #0121 in Kent County, was referred to the Chairman, with power.
On motion of Mr. Lloyd, seconded by Governor Crothers, all bills this day approved by the Auditing Committee, were ordered paid.
On motion, duly seconded, the Commission adjourned.
