Mr. Shoemaker moved that the question of the extension of road in Talbot County from the completed section of Contract #0111 to Skipton be referred to the Chairman and Mr. Lloyd, with power. The motion was seconded by Mr. Button, and adopted. On motion of Mr. Shoemaker, seconded by Mr. Lloyd, the Chairman was authorized to advance Mr. ;V. C. 3vans the amount of $4000. said amount to be deducted from his final estimate on Contract #0111 in Talbot County; and that Mr. Evans be informed that he must pay all outstanding obligations against him in Talbot County before final settlement is made by this Commission with him. IJr. Button moved that Mr. Thomas Uullan be allowed an amount of $500. to cover time lost on account of securing rights-of-way on Contract fOE2 in St. Mary's County. The motion was seconded by Mr. Lloyd, and adopted. Half salary for July allowed T. Albert Tard. Mr. Shoemaker moved that an extension of time to June Extension of time on Contr.0255. 1st, 1912, "be granted Messrs. VYarren Brothers on Contract 7?0255. The motion was seconded by Mr. Hut ton, and adopted. The Chairman presented a claim of T. Albert Ward, State Ztoad Inspector, for four weeks' salary, covering time lost during July, on account of illness with typhoid fever. On motion of Mr. Shoemaker, seconded by Mr. Hutton, it was agreed that T. Albert V/ard be allowed half time for the month of July. A comrvunication from Mr. 3. L. Coblentz, Attorney for the Town Commissioners of Middletown, was read to the Board, inouiring if the State Roads Commission would furnish enough stone to put on the portion of the National Turnpike through Middletown, in consideration of the Town Authorities taking over the road permanently and agreeing to pay for putting the stone on and doing everything else necessary to improve the road. On motion of Mr. Shoemaker, seconded by Mr. Lloyd, this matter was referred to the Chairman with power. On motion.of Mr. Lloyd, seconded by Mr. Hutton, it was ordered that all bills this day approved by the Auditing Committee, be paid. On motion, duly seconded, the Commission adjourned.
