Page 345. Final and Semi-Final Estimates ordered paid. On motion of Mr. Shoemaker, seconded by Mr. Button, the semi-final estimate on Contract #0188, ?. Flanigan & Sons, Contractors, for work done to August 7th, 1911, on the Liberty Hoad, for $1,896.86; and final estimates on Contracts ;,-020, national Surety Company, Contractors, for work done to August llth, 1911, on the Llechaniosville-Leonardtown P.oad, for $8,594.15; #0^1, Bmpire State Surety Company, Contractors, for work done to August Srd, 1911, on the Uechanicsville-Leonardtown 3oad, for $5,639.93; and 7?045, G. 1.1. Prech, Contractor, for work done to August 9th, 1911, on the 31kton-Fair Hill Hoad, for $2,573.67, were ordered paid. On motion of LIr. Hutton, seconded by LIr. Shoen^ker, it was ordered that the Hoad Directors for Allegany County be notified that the bill for $990.50 for work done on two bridges on the national r Pike during 1910, between Cumberland and Frostburg, will be paid as • ( soon as funds are available. On motion of LIr. Shoemaker, seconded by LIr. Hutton, it was ordered that the Highways Commission of Baltimore County be Repairs to bridges on Belalr notified that the bridges on the Belair Hoad at Herring Run and Road at Herring Hun and Raspeburg, being on a section of road that has not been taken over Haspeburg. by the State Roads Commission for re-construction, the Commission is, therefore, unable to make repairs on same, and requests that the Highways Commission of Baltimore County make such repairs. Bill for work on bridges on Rational Pike in Alleg.Co. Purchase of Toll-Houses on Jefferson & Fredetiek Pks. The Chairman recommended that certain toil houses on the Jefferson and Frederick (Turnpikes be purchased by the Commission. On motion of Mr. Shoenaker, seconded by LIr. Hutton, the question was referred to the Chairman, with power. The Chairman submitted a letter from the Chief Bngineer, under date of August 17th, 1911, with respect to Contract ,.0180, Termination of pitch macadam William LI. Slder, Contractor, recommending that the pitch macadam portion of Contract fOlBO. part of said contract be terminated, whereupon, on motion of LIr. Shoemaker, seconded by I Jr. Lloyd, it was ordered that proper notice be served on William 1,1. aider, on Contract ^0160. On motion of I.lr. Hutton, seconded by Mr. Lloyd, the action Lowering of Dr. Cooke's Sewer of the Chairman in notifying Dr. Theodore Cooke that unless his on Harford Road. sewer on the Harford Road, between Stations 42 and 44, is lowered in conformity with the request of the Chairman, under date of August llth, 1911, his pormit will be revoked, was approved.
